Last Thursday, room 2 and the rest of our Richmond Whanau celebrated a year's learning at our graduation ceremony. We reflected on each term's achievements, preformed our favourite Ukelele tunes and celebrated each student with a certificate and a pounamu necklace as a piece of taonga to remember their time at Richmond School.
I have enjoyed teaching and learning in Room 2 this year. We have achieved so much and RISEN to be better friends, better citizens and better learners. Thank you to all our Whanau around New Zealand and the World.

Here is the video that Whaea Alice and Room 2 presented at Graduation last week. So many good memories and a lovely celebration of our Richmond Whanau.

Flick It On
This term, Richmond School has been involved with the Flick It on movie making challenge. The seniors in room 3 made their own silent movie and then swapped it with another silient movie made my students at a school in the USA.
We had a go at adding the voice and foley (sound effects) to this movie. IT took a lot of working together but it was easy when we turned our classroom into a recording studio!
Here is the finished product!
